Nicaragua Summer Exchange 2018
The Nicaragua Summer Exchange is a youth inspired immersion experience hosted in Granada. Since 1998, our strategic partner, The Nicaragua Summer Exchange has been on a mission to help more college and high school students reach Spanish fluency. Spanish provides a tremendous opportunity to expand one’s community and career network. Every field from business to biology needs culturally competent Spanish speakers. Reaching fluency is not difficult when connected to social and cultural interaction. We create a fluency path by making longer stays more affordable. Young people are active, they absorb language fully and naturally when engaged with their Spanish speaking peers. Our peer to peer focus brings youth together to share common interests and talents. We guide our visiting students with morning tutoring, service learning, and cultural activities which build speaking confidence. We include our “Fluency Pledge”, which means we extend our support to offer internships and gap year without a program fee. For more info please contact Francisco Duque at email@example.com
