The Language Institute offers general Spanish for Beginners, Intermediate and classes for people with no knowledge or some knowledge of the language. We put a lot of emphasis on conversation and pronunciation through all levels.

Classes Description
This class is for people with previous Spanish knowledge who want to improve and practice their conversation skills. This is a 6-week class that meets for an hour and a half.
General Spanish
Conversation
Private classes (one-to-one) are available for students who want individual attention. We have private classes in the morning and afternoon, depending on the student’s schedule. Students can take one or more hours per week.
Private Classes
Medical Spanish is a program designed especially for health care workers. This program was created by Language Institute working in collaboration with Duke School of Nursing and Latino Health Project at Duke University in 2004 and has had many excellent results!
The main objective of this program is facilitate a better communication between health care providers and their Latino patients in Durham. Health care workers who want to learn Spanish will experience more direct and easy communication with their patients and be able to provide them information in Spanish about their health and treatments. Students learn medical vocabulary, grammar, useful questions and expressions.
Medical Spanish Program is a session of 10 weeks, 2 hours per week.
Medical Spanish
Language Institute is offering Spanish classes for children from 3 to 8 years old. This program has been designed to teach Spanish through games, stories, role-play, reading, songs and other interactive activities. Our teachers make learning Spanish fun for children of all ages with small groups and friendly atmosphere.

We provide customized packages for organizations, companies and businesses at very affordable prices with flexible options for location and time. We will come to you!
We have developed specialized curricula for several agencies and companies in the area.
The objective of this program is to give the opportunity to employees to learn Spanish at their workplace and to improve the communication with Hispanic clients, patients and community members.
We have 8 weeks sessions, 2 hours per class twice a week. We have time available in the morning, at lunch time, in the afternoon or evenings.
